Article summary

The Curve Health team is pleased to deliver the following product enhancements. As always, thank you to YOU our users. Much of these enhancements come right from your use of the platform. If you have any improvements you want to see, login to the app and submit them here!

Improved Handling of Provider Shift-Change Situations

  • Previously, the Provider was being automatically reassigned by the platform during shift change. This behavior was observed to have caused some issues and confusion.
  • Curve will no longer automatically reassign an encounter to a new Provider during shift change.
  • The reassignment will now be performed manually by the CTC, in the same manner of all other reassignments/escalations.
Users Impacted:

Remote Provider on Curve (RPC)
Care Traffic Controller (CTC)

Other Platform Improvements

  • Fixed an issue where the Patient Confirmation Screen was not appearing when activating a patient via the "I need a Provider" button on the home screen.
  • Improved the icon visualization within the bottom ribbon when using Curve on a tablet.
  • Fixed an issue where the Temperature and O2 Saturation Source dropdown lists opened in the background when adding a set of vitals.
  • Fixed an issue preventing the User from selecting a recipient's name from the "New Message to:" box within the "Messages" tab.
  • Fixed an issue where medication/IV orders were being cleared after the Provider signed the Patient Chart. The desired behavior is that all Orders should remain visible to the BCP on mobile until the encounter is closed.
  • Removed the requirement for the Provider to enter a "Duration" when ordering a medication/IV.
